The new functionality of Construct IN, launched in October 2023, is a tool for visualization and monitoring of schedules, which promises to further facilitate remote management of construction sites in 360°.
Thus, it is possible to centralize in a single platform the most relevant information of the project, maintaining control over the site at any time and place.
With it, users can visualize the schedule of the project, take measurements, view the S Curve of the project, check which activities are delayed, identify the most relevant tasks of the week, and much more.
How the schedule works in Visi by Construct IN
To insert the schedule into the platform, it is necessary to generate a file in “.csv” format compatible with the requested format.
But don’t worry! If the user works with MS Project, it is very easy to export by mapping the columns of the file in Project to the necessary columns in an Excel file. Check here for the step-by-step guide to export your schedule from MS Project.
When schedules are created directly in Excel, just make a few adjustments to adapt to the submission model of Construct IN. Click here to learn more details on how to set up your Excel document for import into Construct IN.
Once this process is complete, just upload the schedule to Construct IN and start monitoring the execution of the project directly on the platform.
Another highlight of the functionality is that, when inserting the document, the system itself calculates the S Curve of the planning, which will be displayed on the Summary screen of the Schedule, as shown in the image below.

On this screen, other relevant information is also available, such as a summary of how many activities are Ahead, On time, or Delayed, and how many activities have already started, are yet to start, or have already been completed.
In the Table section, it is possible to view the list of all activities in the schedule and measure the progress of the physical work.
The percentage of progress for each activity and the start and end dates of an activity can also be entered. See the following example.

The system also allows you to filter the period you wish to view, as well as highlight only the activities for a week or specific days. This makes it easier to find the information that really matters in the week in question.
Benefits of integration with the schedule
The schedule functionality was designed to further optimize the routine of professionals involved in construction management. Below, check the main advantages of the tool for your routine and your company.
Centralization of information
With the schedule integrated into the Construct IN platform, it is possible to ensure that the most relevant information of the project will be in a single platform.
Thus, you save time by searching for the information you need about the progress of your work. When consulting your images in Construct IN, you can easily identify which activities are delayed and need attention.
Integration with Viewer 360°
The major difference of this new feature is being able to monitor the schedule within Construct IN’s Viewer 360º, side by side with the 360° images of the project. In the Viewer, the same information from the table is available, with the added possibility of applying date or week filters for the images.
This way, you can easily and quickly identify the most critical activities of the week and check if they have advanced according to what is recorded in the measurements or if they are delayed.
An additional feature is to filter to quickly find only the activities scheduled to finish that week, for example. All this in the same environment, without needing to switch between tools.
More control over the progress of activities
With the ability to filter activities and visually track the S Curve of the project, it becomes easier to control the execution of works and ensure that they are being carried out on time and correctly.
In addition to improving the visibility of tasks that are delayed, ongoing, or completed, the tool helps in making decisions more swiftly and avoiding delays in the planning.
