Innovating in civil construction is an urgency. After all, does it make sense to continue building in the same way for decades when there are new tools, machines, and construction models available in the market?
A report prepared by the consulting firm McKinsey (2020) indicates that the annual growth of the productivity of the sector over the last 20 years was only one-third of the total averages of the economy. This is justified mainly by the lack of innovation in the sector, since digitalization is lower than in any other industry.
In light of this reality, it has been and still is necessary to improve the productivity of the sector, reduce its environmental impacts, optimize resource usage, and invest in technologies and new business models. For this, there is only one way: innovation in civil construction.
In these almost 3 years of Construct IN, we have already learned a lot about this, met many people and projects aimed at changing this scenario. It is for this reason that we decided to share this learning with you.
Soon, we will launch a series of content on innovation in civil construction, bringing different construction systems and new technologies that can improve the productivity of the sector.
To receive all the materials firsthand, you can already subscribe and secure access to the news we are producing.
