The ProjetaBIM is a company that aims to reduce costly changes and unexpected delays in construction schedules, enabling the anticipation of errors through BIM technology. Its services include BIM compatibility, 4D planning, Executive BIM modeling, quantity extraction, project coordination, and 5D measurement.

The challenge

ProjetaBIM was hired to carry out the design and coordination of a construction project in the city of Sinop/MT - more than 3000km from its headquarters in Porto Alegre. Thus, the first challenge of the project was integrating communication among teams of designers, architects, and construction executors.

In addition, the high costs involved in the travel and accommodation of architects and engineers also became a challenge against the planned budget. Another issue faced was the ability to approve work fronts based on the quality required in the project. 

Role of Visi by Construct IN

By comparing the BIM models with the images recorded at the construction site, Visi by Construct IN helped to improve accuracy in project execution.

ProjetaBIM also placed all teams involved in the project (architecture, engineering, planning) within our platform, allowing for the monitoring of the construction progress through a virtual tour from wherever they were.

As a result, it was possible to improve communication among the teams and fit travel and relocation costs within the budget planned.

With the use of the Construct IN platform, the main gains that ProjetaBIM achieved in its project, carried out in Sinop, were:
