Construct IN Talks: connecting professionals and innovative ideas

Construct IN Talks is aimed at construction companies, project managers, and suppliers that work on commercial, industrial, institutional, or corporate projects, and are looking for innovation in their projects.

With the objective of assisting in the evolution of the sector, it brings together professionals who work with non-residential projects to share experiences, innovations, and learnings.

To make this possible, it aims to bring talks from startups and companies in the construction industry with exclusive content and solutions, as well as to provide a moment for networking among participants.

Case Tools Engenharia: technology in project management

The first edition of Construct IN Talks featured the keynote presentation from the team at Tools Gerenciamento e Engenharia on technology in managing projects from start to finish.

The company's founder, Fernanda Rossi, along with partners Flavio Graziano and Rafael Trevisan, shared key insights about initiatives that have generated positive results for Tools.

The team presented the innovative solutions they use in different stages of construction, both in the pre-construction phase and in management of the execution, and how they integrate and centralize this information and technology.

To demonstrate their organizational processes in practice, they shared project and work management strategies divided into 3 fundamental pillars for each phase:

Project management

• Assertive hiring: through a vendor list with the classification of suppliers, issuing invitation letters with objectives and BIM requirements, and a linked measurement system, considering BIM parameters.

• Strategic planning: conducting Kickoff meetings, issuing a BIM execution plan, developing a detailed project schedule, and a preliminary budget.

• Use of technology: developing projects in BIM, 3D compatibility, and collaborative communication, in addition to digitizing the construction.

Project management

• Assertive hiring: through a vendor list with the classification of suppliers, issuing invitation letters, and personalizing the project WBS, as well as technical-commercial equalization.

• Monitoring and management: using management tools and support in decision-making, and a collaborative effort among designers, construction companies, and project managers.

• Use of technology: BIM is also applied on-site, digitizing construction sites, Big Data, and Power BI.

Case SuperViz: increasing productivity in remote work

In an effort to bring even more technology and productivity, Marcelo Franco, Director of New Business at SuperViz, was invited to talk about processes and tools that optimize remote work.

His talk presented real cases of how SuperViz's solution enables collaboration and increases productivity in this model, facilitating communication and coordination among geographically dispersed teams.

Thus, it allows projects to advance efficiently both asynchronously and synchronously, also aiding in the remote management of works.

Construct IN: remote management of projects

The Operations Director at Construct IN, Arthur Netto, also spoke about the platform, which allows the management of projects through 360° images and the importance of centralizing information during the execution of a project.

Arthur also presented the prototype of Construct IN's Artificial Intelligence capable of transforming the data input about the project in the system and platform notes into textual responses, like a conversation in a messaging app.
