Mixed economy company, one of the leading companies in its segment in the country, faced significant challenges in managing its projects spread across more than 5000 service points.

With the implementation of Construct IN through a customized adoption plan, it was able to increase operational efficiency by 76% in strategic projects and save around 8000 hours of work per quarter.

About the Client

Mixed economy society with over a century of history. It has a broad network with over 5,000 buildings throughout the national territory, including retail and special service points, as well as corporate offices. 

Challenges before Construct IN

 Conducts around 900 projects annually involving everything from ground-up constructions, retrofits, small and large renovations, maintenance, changes of service points, etc. 

Its engineering and projects sector has about 450 professionals, with 200 of them directly responsible for monitoring the projects.

Given the volume and distance between the projects, the team could not keep up with all the projects in person, resulting in limited control over the quality and progress of the interventions.

In this sense, the monitoring was done through WhatsApp groups, daily work reports, and photos. However, the efficiency of this type of monitoring was low, as the information provided was not always reliable and did not represent the actual stage of the project.

This resulted in delays and increased operational costs due to the time spent traveling; the company estimates that on average, a manager took about 8 hours to make a visit - considering projects outside major urban centers. 

Furthermore, information about the project ended up being centered on the project manager, and when management and directors wanted access to information, they had to rely on this professional's support.
