Project is now Virtual Site | Nomenclature update and new team organization

26 de mar. de 2026

Your projects in Visi are now called Virtual Sites, and the Team area has been reorganized as Users, bringing more clarity to your view and access management.

Visi has received two updates in the platform's presentation and organization, focused on making the structure clearer and more aligned with the product's concept, but without changing its usage flow.

  • Project is now Virtual Site

From now on, what was previously called Project will be called Virtual Site. The change is in nomenclature only and does not impact structure or access.

The new term reinforces the core concept of Visi: representing your physical asset — such as a construction site, plant, or unit — in the digital environment.

It is worth remembering that the name of the Visi platform is an acronym for Virtual Site, meaning your construction site in the digital environment. This update, therefore, brings the concept that is already in the platform's own name, reinforcing our purpose of digitalization.

You will continue to access your Virtual Site in the same way you accessed your Project.

  • User and group management

The Team area has also been updated and is now called Users. In addition to the name, the page has been reorganized into two tabs: Users and Groups, facilitating visualization and access management within the platform.

This new structure allows for a more scalable organization, where the same user can be linked to different groups, improving permission control on larger projects. Learn more here.

Benefits:

  • Understand more clearly the concept of Virtual Site within the platform

  • Maintain the same usage flow, with no changes to the access structure

  • Organize users and permissions in a more structured way

  • View users and groups separately

  • Allow a user to participate in multiple groups

  • Prepare access management for more complex structures
