360° Image Capture on the construction sites

The capture technology is among the main features of Construct IN, ensuring practicality and efficiency when executing the process. 

To start the capture, the first step is to download the project that will be captured within Construct IN Capture, or as we like to call it: just Capture. Although not a mandatory step, this greatly speeds things up since, generally, there is no Internet connection at the capture locations. 

Next, just connect the compatible 360° camera to the smartphone via wifi, which makes the connection quick and easy. With the equipment connected, it’s time to walk around the site to capture images at pre-defined points, which can be done without needing to be connected to any Internet network.

It is also important to remember that if it is necessary to add new points during the capture, it is also possible to add them directly through Capture. 

After the capture is completed, just disconnect the camera and send the files  directly from the app to the Construct IN platform system, where they are stored in an organized manner. In this process, it is recommended that the image uploads are done with a wi-fi connection, but nothing prevents it from being done with a 4G network.

Finally, all records are available on the platform, allowing all project agents to access the captured images of the site. This is nothing more than the capture technology, along with other systems and functionalities, providing a new way to conduct remote project management.

In summary, we have seen that you only need a smartphone, a camera, and a few minutes of your day to have the construction site digitized. And that’s where the great advantage of Construct IN lies with the application of capture technology, as it guarantees excellent results in a very agile manner, being able to document up to 350 m² in just 5 minutes.

The method used in Construct IN allows for easy access to records and a much greater immersion in the construction site.
