There is much talk about the protection of personal data and how to prevent it from being used without each individual's consent. In construction, this is no different.
There is a concern for the privacy and security of the data in a project, as well as for all the collaborators involved in it.
When it comes to photographic records, it is also necessary to pay special attention to the issue of the use of images and identity protection.
With this in mind, Construct IN launched a new feature in Visi, the automatic blurring of faces.
Next, we will show how it works and what the benefits of this tool are.
Automatic Blurring of Faces
The main objective of the automatic blurring of faces is to protect the identity of the people appearing in the 360° images of the works, captured in Visi by Construct IN.
This technology is nothing more than the blur effect, a tool widely used in photo or video editing programs to correct imperfections or hide certain points in the image. The term comes from English and means to blur when translated.
How It Works
After the captures made using 360° cameras with Visi by Construct IN Capture, the 360° images are sent directly to the platform.
At the moment the images are uploaded, Construct IN's algorithm automatically recognizes the faces and creates a blur effect over them.
When opening the photo in the 360° Viewer, the effect will already be applied to all faces identified by the system. Moreover, it is possible to edit or create a blur manually.
Benefits
The tool was created to further optimize the experience of users when documenting and managing their works, providing more privacy and security.
In addition to protecting the identity of those appearing in the images of the works through Visi by Construct IN, the automatic blurring of faces offers other advantages for the construction process.
Among them is the possibility to share the 360° photos with clients, collaborators, and other stakeholders involved in the project without worrying about issues of LGPD and consent for image use.
